POSITION OVERVIEW
Residential Assistant Supervisor -
Albany residential has an immediate need for a full-time ResidentialAssistant Supervisor. This position is responsible for supervising direct care staff as well as working as part of the direct care team who collectively provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to agency policy and regulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervising program activity as related to client treatment plans
- Supervision and evaluation of direct care staff
- Working as part of staff-to-youth ratio and on-call system, mentoring and training staff
- Assisting in crisis intervention as needs
- Other administrative tasks related to running the unit
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Requires an Associate’s degree plus 3 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR high school plus at least 5 years of experience
- Related experience with vulnerable populations/older adolescent population is required
- Must have supervisory experience or demonstrated ability to manage a residential unit
- Must have valid, clean driver’s license
- Ability to work variable shifts required including evenings, weekends and holidays

POSITION OVERVIEW
Residential Case Manager
Our Residential Case Manager will work out of our Albany, NY campus and will be responsible for supporting clients in the Residential System while performing duties in collaboration with a clinician.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrange and attend home visits
- Prepare transition plans
- Coordinate Independent Living Services
- Act as the primary contact between Schools and Residential
- Coach family visits
- Complete various assessments, including FASP and SPR
- Complete accurate case notes and timely input the notes into Connections database
- Provide transportation for clients
- Maintain contact with DSS and family
- Function as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Attend dorm meetings
- Attend treatment review meetings
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelors degree or commensurate level of education and related experience.
Experience with individuals in care systems preferred.
Drivers license is required for this position.
Work requires 25 50% community travel/visits.

Position Summary
Provide daily therapeutic care and programming according to Agency and other governing bodies (LDSS, OCFS, CSE, etc.) standards and requirements for adolescent clients who are emotionally disturbed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the physical order of the building and therapeutic environment of the units.
- Develop and maintain schedules within the assigned campus residential unit, ensuring that there is adequate staff to meet regulatory requirements and safety requirements.
- Responsible to ensure that youth in our care are being supervised according to regulatory and programmatic standards.
- Design, implement and supervise program activity which will lead to the attainment of goals described within treatment plans.
- Supervise and evaluate the work of residential staff assigned to residential programs.
- Maintain records as directed by the Residential Program Manager.
- Participate in the interviewing and selection of new staff members.
- Participate in the training of residential staff.
- Conduct residential staff meetings.
- Participate in the evaluation of youth referred to the Agency for residential care.
- Conduct the financial activity of the residential unit in accordance with guidelines established by the Residential Program Manager and the Director.
- Responsible for managing program funds, purchasing food, clothing, household supplies, managing youth allowances
- Participate/organize program and agency wide special events and services.
- Provide for the physical and psychological needs of clients, including physical safety, hygiene, clothing, food (cooking when necessary), medical care, a reliable and nurturing environment.
- Participate in program on call rotation
Education and Experience
Requires minimum of HS diploma or equivalent and at least three to four years of relevant experience.
Certification/Licensure
None required. Clean valid driver license.
